Space Science with STEM Exploration!

We are thrilled to announce that the theme for the 2024 - 2025 school year will be "Space Science"! Prepare for an engaging and hands-on exploration of the cosmos, integrating STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) components throughout our curriculum.

Here's a glimpse of the exciting sciences we will be delving into:

• Astrophysics: Dive into the fundamental principles governing the universe, from the nature of stars and galaxies to the physics of cosmic phenomena like gravitational waves.
• Cosmology: Explore the origins and evolutions of the universe, discussing theories such as the Big Bang and cosmic inflation.
• Astronomy: Peer through telescopes and study celestial objects firsthand, from the intricate details of planets and moons to distant galaxies millions of light-years away.
• Space Biology: Investigate the effects of space travel on living organisms, from the challenges of microgravity to the potential for life beyond Earth.
• Planetary Geology: Analyze the surfaces of other worlds, comparing/contrasting the geological features of planets and moons in our solar system.
• Space Exploration Technology: Get hands-on with robotics, discussing the design and programming of space probes and rovers, inspired by real missions like Mars exploration.

Our mission is to ignite a passion for discovery, critical thinking, and problem-solving through the lens of space science and its interdisciplinary nature.
