We are going to celebrate Book-O-Ween this year for all grade levels in 2-8 at the North Campus again this year.   For those of you who are new, this is a celebrated, academic-related event to go along with Halloween. The students have some sort of project assigned to them which allows them to share information on one of their favorite books.  They are also allowed to dress up as a character from that book on Halloween.  This should be planned in the classrooms by ALL elementary teachers and our middle school ELA teachers.Teachers would need to have it in their lesson plans.  The students should complete an assignment, present it, and they can choose to dress up as one of the book's characters on October 31st Teachers should provide an assignment sheet with a rubric with expectations.  Teachers should post it on DAS connect early for parents to reference. All elementary teachers must assign itOnly ELA teachers for Middle School assign this projectEveryone should make the due date as October 31st
