Dear DAS Families,

We’re proud to share some amazing accomplishments from our students this spring! Their hard work, talent, and team spirit continue to shine—and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate them with you.

⚙️ FLL Robotics

Our FLL Robotics team brought home a state trophy for their robot design, and their season isn’t over yet—they’ve been invited to the Sunshine State Invitational in June, the largest international FLL competition. What an exciting opportunity!

🏅 Model UN

Congratulations to 5th grader, Grace, for earning Best Delegation—the highest individual honor in the Pinellas County Schools Model UN Conference! Shoutout to 6th graders, Hugo and Eva, for receiving Honorable Mention for Best in Debates.

🤖 SeaPerch

Our middle school SeaPerch team earned an impressive 2nd place overall! Great job to Miles, JP, Kai, and Natee for their strong showing in underwater robotics.

🔬 Science Olympiad

8th grader, Jazzlyn, won a very impressive three medals, and teammates Angelina and Kevser all earned 1st place medals at regionals. Way to go, team!

Athletics

This school year has been full of Tiger pride! We’ve wrapped up boys soccer, coed ball hockey, girls flag football, and girls volleyball. Now underway: girls soccer, boys flag football, and cheer. Let’s go, Tigers!

🎶 K–2 Clubs

Our K–2 Dance Club is prepping for their upcoming spring recital—we can’t wait to see their moves! Meanwhile, the K–2 Sports Club meets weekly with Coach Henrie and is having an absolute blast.

Thank you for cheering on our students and supporting their success. We are so proud of what they’ve accomplished—and what’s still to come!
