Pinellas County Emergency Management has activated shelters in preparation for Tropical Storm/Hurricane Idalia.  Therefore, all Pinellas County Schools and offices will be CLOSED on Tuesday, August 29 through Wednesday, August 30. All sports and school activities scheduled for Tuesday, August 29 and Wednesday, August 30 are canceled.    

 We will continue to monitor the storm and any impact it has on Pinellas County. All updates will be posted on the district's weather page www.pcsb.org/weather  and on social media including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

As of now, we will reopen this Thursday. We will keep you updated if this changes and inform you of any adjustments that might be made to our academic calendar as a result of this closure. Please note that Discovery Academy of Science will adhere to all directives and decisions issued by Pinellas County Schools.
