Dear DAS Families,
We hope this message finds you and your loved ones well. Today, our administration team met to thoroughly assess the status of our school and faculty. We are pleased to report that power, air conditioning, and internet services are all up and running at our school, and we are ready to welcome back all students once the district gives the green light to reopen.
In the midst of these events, our ongoing relief effort to support families impacted by Hurricane Helene was interrupted by Hurricane Milton. We are extending this relief initiative to help any of our families now affected by Hurricane Milton as well. We will continue to accept donations to aid our students, faculty, and families who have experienced significant damage or displacement due to the storms.
