Dear DAS Families,
We are thrilled to announce that this Monday marked the launch of our Color Run Fundraiser! This vibrant and fun event is designed to support our many ELEVATE-DAS programs, such as Flag Football, FLL Robotics, SeaPerch, Drama, Odyssey of the Mind, and more. It promises to be a day filled with color, joy, and community spirit.
Please note that there has been a change in the schedule. The Color Run is now set to take place on Friday, April 19th. The fundraiser portal will be open until April 18th, giving you ample time to register and participate. The run will be held towards the end of the school day, beginning around 1:00 at South Campus and 1:30 at our North Campus. If anyone is interested in volunteering to help us run this event, please sign up using this link.
During the event, participants will enjoy a fun run while being sprinkled with a safe, cornstarch-based color powder. After the fun, we’ll have stations to blow off the excess powder and use baby wipes for a quick clean-up. April 19th will also be a free dress down day. We encourage participants to wear white or light-colored clothing to fully embrace the colorful experience.
