We recognize that Hurricane Helene has profoundly impacted many of our families and staff. We have received numerous inquiries from families wishing to offer support to fellow DAS families in need. In response, our administration has developed a confidential form for families experiencing loss due to the storm. If your family has faced significant challenges, please complete this form so that we can better understand your needs and provide the necessary assistance.
Below is a message from our National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Club Sponsors on their donation drive:
I hope this message finds you well. As many of you know, Hurricane Helene has significantly impacted our community, affecting both families and staff members. In light of this, we are organizing a gift card drive to provide support to those in need.
We kindly ask for your help in donating gift cards to stores such as Walmart, Publix, Target, or any local restaurants. Any denomination—whether $5, $10, $15, $20, or $25—would be greatly appreciated and will make a meaningful difference.
Additionally, we are collecting bottled water and individually packaged snacks to distribute to the hardworking individuals who are helping to clean our beaches and homes.
Donation Drop-Off Details:
- When: Now through Friday, October 11th between the hours of 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Where: Front Office or to a staff member in morning or afternoon carline
